Re: Styrofoam Cone and Coffee Filter Christmas Trees

Our ladies group will be making Christmas trees next Tuesday.  Here's an example of a tree that I made recently.

I used a 6 inch styrofoam cone and regular size coffee filters.  I cut the center out of each coffee filter and wrapped it around the cone all the way up.  At the top, I made a cone from the cut out center.  I glued a star to the top and placed pink bows and pearls all over the tree.

Here are some photos that I took of the tree.  The base of the tree is a candle holder that my grandfather made for me years ago.
